China Snow Town (Xuexiang) Winter Guide: What to Know Before You Go
If you’re planning a winter trip to Harbin, China Snow Town — also known as Xuexiang (中国雪乡) — is one of the most popular side trips to add to your itinerary.

China Snow Town, or Xuexiang, is a snowy village in Heilongjiang Province in northeast China.

Many travellers combine Xuexiang with a Harbin winter itinerary, but it isn’t located within Harbin city itself, so allow enough travel time when planning your trip.

Temperatures can fall well below -20°C, especially overnight and in the early morning. Actual conditions vary depending on the date, weather and wind.
